“How do you get a stray cat out of your house? My pitties can’t get to it.” That social media post could have ended very differently—but thanks to a quick-acting volunteer, Piggy got his second chance.

For two days, he hid in fear in a stranger’s bedroom, too scared to trust the world around him. But once he was safely trapped and given time to decompress, his true personality came shining through—and it’s pure love. Today, Piggy is the ultimate lap cat. In fact, he’s so dedicated to snuggles that it’s nearly impossible to snap a photo without him climbing into your arms!

Piggy is affectionate, playful, and full of charm. His adorable name comes from the two distinct dots on his nose that look just like a little pig snout. He gets along well with other cats but would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only. Despite his rough start, he’s even shown a curious, gentle interest in dogs.
